It’s time for Christmas trees, presents, and peppermint! Yay!
Why was the snowman looking through the carrots? He was picking his nose.
Two snowmen were standing in a field. One said, “Can you smell carrots?”
Welcome to this year’s Christmas post. I’ve missed y’all!
Medical studies, a small group through my church, and “just life” have kept me hopping lately.
As of this writing, there’s not one present wrapped! 😮 The picture to the right tells a different story, but I have “props” that come out when the tree goes up!
3 Christmas Trees
I don’t know but it seems the longer I spend spinning around on this old earth, the busier I get.
There is no outside job to report to every day and no grandkids, but my schedule almost always stays full.
Can you relate?
Don’t get me wrong, I love doing and accomplishing, but it all seems to be piling up. 😯 Or maybe I’m just getting slower!
One of the first things on my agenda for the season is Christmas cards. I do love this job!
The choosing of a family picture for the Christmas photo card, the drafting of the Christmas letter, putting it all together to proclaim the season. Fun! Too much time is probably spent choosing just the right stamp, sticker, and address label to create a Christmas delight, but I like the card to be a present in itself.
If you have read my GET TO KNOW ME page, you may recall that I adore mint-flavored things. If you are a fellow mint-lover, have you tried Mint Kit Kat? They are the BEST. ♥
Partly what makes Christmas beautiful and joyous are the special treats found only at this time of year. Gorgeous Christmas lights, family members coming home, a fun and festive Christmas Eve service at church, and, of course, holiday peppermint goodies!

…But what really makes Christmas beautiful is the Christmas spirit inside us. (Some) people are kinder near the holidays; bubbling over with anticipation, joy, and maybe even generosity. As the band Sawyer Brown sings, “I wish it could be Christmas all year long.”
Best gifts…
You know, the best gifts don’t have to be wrapped and placed under the twinkling tree. We can offer free gifts to everyone we meet (anytime). A patient smiling face, a listening ear, a hug, leaving a gap in rush hour, 😉 forgiveness.
God loved us so much that He gave His only Son for our good. He set us free from chains we could never remove ourselves. He gave us hope.
Let’s share love and hope this Christmas.

The spirit of Christmas needs to be superseded by the Spirit of Christ.
The spirit of Christmas is annual; the Spirit of Christ is eternal.
The spirit of Christmas is sentimental; the Spirit of Christ is supernatural.
The spirit of Christmas is a human product; the Spirit of Christ is a divine person.
That makes all the difference in the world. ~ Stuart Briscoe

Late on a sleepy, star-spangled night, those angels peeled back the sky just like you’d tear open a sparkling Christmas present.
Then, with light and joy pouring out of Heaven like water through a broken dam, they began to shout and sing the message that baby Jesus had been born.
The world had a Savior! The angels called it “Good News,” and it was.

What I wish for you this Christmas is the most beautiful gift your eyes have ever beheld.
It’s there, way in the back under the glistening Christmas Eve tree. You find it when you are alone, after everyone else has called it a night.
You take this present in your hands and see your name written in golden script. You gingerly open it…
Love, peace, and joy pervade your heart, your being.
…Merry Christmas from your Heavenly Father.
♥
May your days be merry and bright…with gifts wrapped, meals planned, and a cozy, clean home.
It was great reconnecting with you. Spread the Christmas joy and share this post. 🙂
One more…
What did Adam say the day before Christmas? “It’s Christmas, Eve.” 😀
I leave you with Christmas trees, presents, and peppermint,
Pam
