I’m excited for you to meet Dave, my son-in-law. He’s awesomely talented. (Smart, too, he married my oldest, Lacey.)
I’d like to share some of his art with you. He can draw really well, make unique wood carvings and stupendous sushi rolls, and create delicious lattes with his commercial-type espresso machine!
Once, for my birthday, he built me a 7′ snowman!
He works miracles on windows, too. A couple of years ago he started his own business, West O Window. His customers are very happy!
Do you know Gollum?
Perhaps a wood carving for someone’s special Christmas gift….
This is a sweet engagement story (by Dave).
He planned to take Lacey up in a hot air balloon to propose, but he couldn’t know ahead of time what day it would be because conditions had to be just right. Anyway, he finally got a call one April day from the balloon’s pilot and up they went!
A bear in the air
While they were high in the air, Dave gave Lacey a bear that he had made (sewn). The bear was wearing a jacket and holding a red rose that Dave had crocheted. Inside the bear’s jacket pocket was an engagement ring. Dave got down on his knee and asked Lacey to marry him.
Lacey obviously said yes because this same bear attended their wedding as the ring “bear!” 🙂
I’m honored to introduce you to Dave, my son-in-law, a great guy.
Keep him in mind for an awesome gift for someone. 😉
Blessings and blooms,
Pam
