Hello! 🙂 I love the above quote. It is all about what we think. It all depends on our mindsets!
Do you believe that you can accomplish what you set out to do? Do you see bad in the world or good?
It’s up to you and your mindset. Your mindset can be contagious for the good or the bad.
Focus on the good, the positive. Notice the little things that make you smile. There’s a lot of beauty and good in this world. Sure, there’s a lot of bad stuff, too, but we don’t need to focus on it. That doesn’t help anyone!
I am learning that a mindset is the collection of many attitudes. But for this post, we will focus on only one.
In my humble opinion, one of the best attitudes to have is gratitude! So, to enjoy a better mindset today, pratice gratitude.
Being grateful can change our outlook and the way we think. What starts in our heads eventually becomes an action; thus, when we are grateful we are more likely to show kindness.
So, just by having an attitude of gratitude, we can play a part in making this world a little kinder, a little brighter. This is nothing new, I know, but: Practice random acts of kindness. It’s easy! Notice others and what they may need, and be helpful. You will lift someone’s spirit along with your own. It doesn’t take much. Sometimes just a genuine smile. 🙂

There is no other way in which one’s life will be so surely, so quickly transformed, as in the faithful, happy, cheerful doing of everyday tasks. We need to remember that this world is not so much a place for doing things as for making character. Right in the midst of what some people call drudgery is the very best place to grow, change, and get a transformed life.
The doing of common tasks patiently, promptly, faithfully, cheerfully, makes the character beautiful and bright. But we must take heed always that we do our tasks, whatever they are, with love in our hearts. Doing any kind of work unwillingly, with complaint and murmuring, hurts the life.

Chuck Swindoll of Insight for Daily Living radio show says:
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.
It will make or break a company… a church… a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past… we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you… we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
To recap a bit, having an attitude of gratitude changes everything for the better. Also, noticing what we can do for others, even if it’s just a smile, can make our day as well as theirs.
Well, I may have bit off more than I can chew because there is A LOT to “Mindset!” I just skimmeed the surface. There’s so much more, but I hope you get the idea. Your better mindset is so important and makes such a difference… for you and for others.
