“AUTUMN, THE YEAR’S LAST LOVELIEST SMILE.” ~ William Cullen Bryant

Mid-November.  It’s chilly and gray, right?  Not this day!  Many afternoon treasures caught my eye, and I’d like to share them with you.

Instead of our usual morning stroll, Annie and I took an afternoon walk.  The lighting was different and great for adding to the already bulging picture gallery on my phone.  😛

The sky was a gorgeous blue backdrop as I captured some vibrantly-colored images.  Whoever heard of sleeveless weather in mid-November?!  I took full advantage of the opportunity.

Since this is the second or third time that I have shared a snapshot of a caterpillar, you must think I really like them.

No, not more than other things, it’s just that I am interested in most everything that I see!  It was colorful and alive.   🙂

Autumn paints in colors that summer has never seen.

Enjoy the Afternoon Treasures!  🙂

Sleeveless in November.  Love it!!

The path is beckoning…

Awesome Oak tree in fall

This tree reminds me of the one in the Jungle Book where Mowgli and Bagheera spend the night 🙂

This huge old Oak tree still needs to lose its leaves  😯

My favorite shot of the day!

“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” ~ Albert Camus

Although it has much to offer, fall traditionally hasn’t been my favorite season.  However, it’s working hard to challenge my favorite, springtime.

I hope you caught some afternoon treasures for your eyes, also!  Talk to you soon.

Blessings and blooms,

Pam
