Our world just got a little sweeter.
Welcome back to Contagious Joy!
In my last post, I promised a big announcement. Thus, this post.
As some of you know, Rick (Baba) and I (Gigi) have 4 little treasures: all boys.
But as of this past April, we received the gift of a granddaughter!
Kacie Marie joined forces with her brothers, Charlie (6) and Liam (3), to keep their parents hopping!
Weighing in at 6 lbs and 14 oz, she is 2nd in size at birth. She looks a lot like her mama did as a baby. ♥

And…as of last night, we have another little treasure. Luke and Melissa are the proud parents of their third son.
He joins Jamesy (3) and Isaac (1 yr, 9 months).

Whew! Two new babies. But let me slow down and back up a bit. I want to catch you up on some fun family adventures.
In June, Luke, Melissa, and the boys came to meet Kacie. We had a fun-packed time. While here, Jamesy turned 3, so we celebrated with a family birthday party, took family pictures (that was a CHALLENGE!), visited the zoo, explored Laurtizen Gardens, and crafted tie-dye shirts!
It was awesome to see them all together. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

A trip to the Henry Doorly Zoo…
made our world a little sweeter
Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo is rated #1 in the nation! We are fortunate to have access to such a wonderful place.
It encompasses roughly 160 acres, features 13 major exhibits, and offers beautiful landscaping throughout, plus a splash park and adventure zone for kids.
Come visit!

And our world got a little sweeter…by exploring Lauritzen Gardens
Lauritzen Gardens is a highly enjoyed location in Omaha, including various vibrant gardens, a fabulous kids’ playplace called Sofia’s Play Garden, a water park,
and trains, both miniature and life-sized.
Fair warning: there are numerous photos in this section. It’s such an enjoyable place, not to mention gorgeous.
